IT / ICT Team

In line with the ICT team's vision - A connected and ed-venturous learning community - we aim to equip our pupils with the appropriate IT skills to enable them to keep up with the fast pace of technology in today's context. An IT curriculum has been introduced and integrated into the core subjects where all pupils learn at least two IT skills at every level. Primary 1 and 2: Max Write and Max Show Primary 3: MS Word and E-mails with attachment Primary 4: MS Powerpoint (Basic) and E-mails with attachment Primary 5: MS Powerpoint (Intermediate) and MS Excel Primary 6: MS Powerpoint (Intermediate) and MS Excel Pupils are encouraged to use one of the above skills to complete a project based assignment for assessment purposes - integrated project work in Term 2 and E-portfolio in Term 3 via the online learning management system. Our school is also one of the LEAD IT schools. Aligning with our niche area of outdoor education and learning, our focus is to engage our pupils in outdoor and experiential learning. Technology will be integrated into the experiential learning trails to complement the different modes of learning. Pupils will learn to use PDAs, tablet PCs, data loggers, mobile wireless network and our Podcasting studio. We also have our school ambassador programme through which we forge partnerships wtih international schools and provide our pupils with a rich learning experience.
