Staff Research & Innovation

Staff of Shuqun Primary are innovative, creative and enterprising. We are constantly upgrading ourselves through action research and innovation projects to improve our teaching and learning as well as operational efficiency. We are also constantly sharing our learning or innovation with others in the education fraternity to enhance our learning as well as forge partnerships with others like us.

The school questions existing practices with regards to classroom teaching and assessment of pupil learning. The research that followed allowed the I & E team to conclude that outdoor learning and alternative assessment have to be incorporated into the curriculum. The research findings will be presented at CRPP Conference held at NIE from 28 May - 30 May 2007.

All Professsional Learning Community Learning Projects completed by staff will be showcased during the staff ICE festival day which will be held during the June 2007 semester break.
