Achievements in Student Leadership & Character Development
- Gold JM Fraser Awards 2006 for the Boys' Brigade
- Silver Frank Cooper Sands Award 2005
- Bronze Girls' Brigade Singapore Company Awards 2005
- Our Boys' Brigade 28J Singapore Company had achieved the Gold Honour Roll at the National BB Quiz held on 8th July 2006. Our two teams were the 2nd runner-up and 10th position respectively

- Gold for Band at the Singapore Youth Festival Central Judging 2006
- Gold for Indian Dance at the Singapore Youth Festival Central Judging 2006
- Silver for Chinese Dance at the Singapore Youth Festival Central Judging 2006
- Silver for Malay Dance at the Singapore Youth Festival Central Judging 2006
- Bronze for Creative / Comtemporary燚ance at the Singapore Youth Festival Central Judging 2006
- Choir awarded a Silver (C) at "A Voyage of Songs" International Choral Competition in Kuala Lumpur

Talents in Aesthetics
- On 18 February 2006, our school participated in the National Calligraphy Competition 2006 organized by Nanyang Technological University. We returned gloriously with Lin Jingwen from 3B2 being awarded the Bronze award.
- 10 students from our school had participated in the On-The-Spot Art Competition @ Jurong Central on 25th February 2006. Masjati from 6B2 won 3rd prize & Junaidi from 6B2 won a consolation prize.
Excellence in Sports

- Level One School Achievement Awards in Sports

- Ranked 4th in West Zone Soccer
- Club Pegasus (Track & Field) - Zhu Pengni for achieveing Gold for High Jump:B Division Boys, Ling Siew Ru : 5th for B Division Girls, Foo Wei En : 4th in C Division Girls; 100 metres - B Boys - Zhu Pengni ranked 25th/100, Ahmad Zuhri ranked 34th/100, C Boys - Zulfikri ranked 42nd/101
- Our Senior & Junior boys came in 4th during West Zone Sepak Takaw Competition held in April. They are qualified for the National Championship which is going to be held in June.
- Our sailing team ranked 6th position in National Inter-School Regatta 2006 (Junior Boys Division).
- Senior Boys 2nd place and Senior & Junior Girls?STRONG>4th at the West Zone Rope Skipping Championship held in Clementi Primary School on 12 & 13 April 2006.
- 2 of our primary 6 pupils, Albert Teng and Lee Sze Wei from 6C2, entered the finals in the National Inter-Primary school Rope skipping competition at Toa Payoh stadium which was held on Tuesday, 1st August 2006. Lee Sze Wei won the 4th position in the Individual event for senior boys.

Community Engagement & Service

- Our Lion Dance troupe as well as 5 other students had performed for the event "Taste of Tradition" in West Mall on 16 July 2006.
- Our Malay & Indian Dancers had put up a performance for the event "Fountain of Youth" on 15th July 2006 at Sentosa.
- Shuqun Primary together with Jurong Spring CCMC organizing Multi-racial Lantern Festival held on 1st October 2006 (Sunday)
- Our Indian Dance had put up a performance for the event "SYF in the heartlands" on 8th July 2006 at IMM.
- Shuqun Primary School is one of four schools soft-launching the 100,000 Native Plants @ South West on Saturday 27 May 2006. This project is a partnership between our school, South West CDC and NParks.
- Our choir, brass band members and Contemporary dancers had put up a performance for the event "Saturday! @ Jurong Central"
- SWCDC Bliss Trail, which was led by Shuqun Primary with the help from other schools, had successfully come to a completion with more than 100 families taking part with their school going children.
- Our cheerleading girls and P2 & P3 contemporary dancers had performed for the Southwest CDC residents during the Family Fun-nival held on 12th March 2006.
- The school had successfully hosted the launch of the Loving Heart School Partnership Programme 2006 on 4 Mar 2006 (Saturday) from 7.30am - 11.30am. The Guest of Honour of the event was Minister Lim Boon Heng, Minister, Prime Minister's Office & MP for Jurong GRC. The school would like to thank Loving Heart Multi-Service Centre for their kind support.

Hosting of Visitors & Promoting Singapore
- Hosted 17 students from Wuxi Jinqiao Bilingual Experimental School on 17th - 21st July
- Hosted 10 students from Hokaido 1st August 2006
- Hosted 20 students from Scotch College on 28th September 2006. Our student leaders led them to complete the Hong Kah Trail designed by our student leaders.
- 18 April – 22 teachers from Xin Hua Primary, Macau joined us in celebration with International Friendship cum Earth Day.
- 22 April – 3 principals and 33 teachers from St Francis of Assisi's English School and two other schools in Hong Kong visited our school.
- 24 & 25 April – 20 students and 2 teachers from Tsang Mui Millenium School, Hong Kong will be here for a visit as well. This is in partnership with Hong Kah Point Merchant Association.
