Staff Well-being Committee (SWC)
The Staff Well-being Committee aims to achieve a high level of staff satisfaction and, in the long term, attain the Family-Friendly Employer Award.
Activities are organised to promote well-being and bonding amongst teaching and non-teaching staff. They include recreational activities like sports and outings. A health screening for staff was also also conducted to encourage a healthy lifestyle.
In line with our aim to promote family-friendly practices, the committee constantly updates staff on pro-family programmes organised by external agencies. An annual family day will also be organised with this aim in mind. In addition, the committee strongly supports the move for a five-day work week. This allows the staff to have more time for reflection and personal pursuits.
The committee also looks into developing structures and managing resources that
provide a conducive environment for staff. The Staff Lounge has been refurbished to provide the staff with a conducive place to relax and unwind.
In a nutshell, we believe in the importance of striking a balance between work and family. We want to make Shuqun a great place to work in! |
